SpeedLink is continuing to show leadership in the cremated remains delivery and repatriation field. This is yet another step in helping families reduce the cost and complication of delivering or repatriating cremated remains.

It all Started with Mary
Having lost his mother Mary, our Director David McMillen was determined to improve the ashes delivery and repatriation experience for people. After a shocking experience with a funeral home and crematorium at one of the worst times of his life, Dave was determined to make a difference.

2019 - Start of commercial service
SpeedLink commenced commercial ashes transport across the UK and to overseas locations

2023 Launch of "Economy Services" via Canada
SpeedLink began offering "economy services" via Canada on an as-and-when basis. This enabled SpeedLink to offer international repatriations of ashes at a fraction of the cost of typical air freight services which can be very problematic. This was done be "piggybacking" ashes shipments on time critical missions to North America.

Extending "Economy Services" via the US
Later in 2023, our "economy service" was then extended to the US, allowing us to reach an even larger market.

Opening of SpeedLink's New York Location, Midtown Manhatten
In June 2024 SpeedLink opened a new facility in midtown Manhattan which has enabled families across the US and Canada to mail their loved ones ashes to us to take advantage of much lower costs to import cremated remains from North America to the United Kingdom. This service has now grown into a bi-monthly service, offering families the opportunity to receive ashes quicker and much easier than air freight.
